Becki Sanchez, MPA
Project Lead and Senior Financial Aid Consultant
Becki Sanchez brings both the strategic perspective of an executive leader and the practical instincts of someone who knows how financial aid operations work from the inside. As a Project Leader and Senior Financial Aid Consultant at BPS, she helps institutions navigate complex regulatory requirements, strengthen systems and processes, and connect financial aid strategy to broader goals for enrollment, access, and student success.
Over 26 years in higher education, Becki has progressed from financial aid counseling to executive leadership, including more than 18 years leading financial aid operations. Her experience spans small private colleges and large R1 research institutions, where she has overseen significant aid portfolios, led large teams, and guided major technology and process transformations. She is equally comfortable working with institutional leaders on long-term strategy and alongside staff untangling a complicated workflow, a reflection of her belief that a strategic vision is only as strong as the processes supporting it.
Becki is particularly energized by messy problems. She enjoys taking complicated processes and rebuilding them into clear, efficient systems that work better for institutions and the students they serve. Throughout her career, that has included aligning financial aid with enrollment strategy, modernizing technology and operations, and mentoring financial aid professionals to become stronger leaders themselves.
Becki earned a B.A. in Business Management from Northwest University and a Master of Public Administration from California Baptist University. She also holds an Asana Foundations certification in collaborative work management.
Outside of work, Becki enjoys being on the water, catching live music, crocheting, and spending time at home with her Dachshund, Noodle. Her work is grounded in a belief that financial circumstances should not determine a student's access to educational opportunity.
