History
Designed by Enrollment Leaders. Built for Enrollment Growth.
Best Practice Solutions was founded by three enrollment leaders who had spent their careers inside colleges and universities, leading teams, managing enrollment pressure, overseeing financial aid strategy, and navigating the operational realities that shape institutional outcomes every day. After serving in Director and Vice President-level roles, they saw the same challenge repeated across institutions of every size: teams were being asked to solve increasingly complex enrollment and revenue challenges without the alignment, operational support, or experienced partnership needed to sustain the work over time.
Best Practice Solutions was built from a simple idea: create the kind of enrollment and operational partner they would have wanted while serving on campus themselves.
From the beginning, the goal was never to operate as a traditional consulting firm removed from the day-to-day realities of higher education. The principals wanted to build a practitioner-led team that could work alongside institutions in a way that was practical, collaborative, and grounded in execution. That perspective continues to shape the company today. The principals of BPS remain directly involved in the work with the institutions we serve, partnering with leadership teams, supporting operations, guiding strategy, and staying engaged through implementation rather than stepping away after recommendations are delivered.
As BPS has grown, that same philosophy has guided the development of the broader team. Every member of BPS has served in leadership roles within higher education, with experience at the Director level or above across enrollment management, admissions, financial aid, marketing, CRM operations, and institutional strategy. Our team is made up of practitioners who understand both the strategic and operational sides of the work because they have lived it themselves.
That matters to us because institutions do not need more abstract recommendations detached from operational reality. They need experienced partners who understand how enrollment systems actually function, how teams operate under pressure, and what it takes to build strategies that hold over time. That is the foundation BPS was built on, and it remains central to how we work today.
Meet the Team
What makes BPS different is not just what we know, it’s where that knowledge comes from.
Our team is made up of former enrollment leaders, financial aid directors, CRM administrators, and operational strategists who understand how institutions actually function. We know the complexity of balancing enrollment goals, staffing realities, student expectations, and institutional priorities because we’ve worked inside those environments ourselves.
That perspective shapes every engagement.
